To store the towel, place it in the original storage tube, a plastic bag, or hang it up to dry.

In the event that the towel develops a mildew odor from improper storage, it can be soaked in a solution of 1 tablespoon of bleach per gallon of warm water for an hour or two, then washed in the machine to remove any residual stains. It's important to always wash the towel before storing it.
